UPSSSC PET 2026 Notification — Preliminary Eligibility Test, Register by 01 Sep (UP)

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow, has released the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 16-Exam/2026, dated 01 August 2026. PET is the mandatory first stage of UPSSSC's two-tier selection system — candidates must qualify PET before they can apply for any Main Examination for Group 'C' posts advertised separately by departments under the Commission's jurisdiction. Candidates holding a High School (10th) qualification or equivalent, aged between 18 and 40 years as on 01 July 2026, are eligible. 1. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) at upsssc.gov.in, effective since 14 July 2026, if not already registered
2. Visit upsssc.gov.in/otr/ and log in using your OTR number or registered mobile number via OTP
3. Verify auto-populated OTR details and fill in remaining application details — Intermediate qualification, marital status, EWS status, and applicable relaxation categories
4. Read the declaration carefully, agree, and submit to generate your 11-digit Registration Slip
5. Click "Proceed for Payment" and pay the prescribed fee via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan
6. Download and print the application form once payment is confirmed
7. Retain the printed form and Registration Slip for future reference
8. Submit your application on or before 01 September 2026
9. Use the "Modify Submitted Application" option (10 Aug–08 Sep 2026) if permissible details need correction
10. Await admit card release closer to the exam date, containing roll number, exam centre, date, and time
