ZP Kolar AYUSH Specialist Doctor 2026 — 2 Posts, Apply by 20 Aug

The Office of the District AYUSH Officer, Zilla Panchayat Kolar has issued Notification No. AYUSH/KO/08/2021-22 (Part-1) dated 18 July 2026 inviting applications for 2 Specialist Doctor posts on a purely temporary contract basis under the National AYUSH Mission. The two vacancies are a Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor at the Government Homoeopathy Hospital, Kolar, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates, and an Ayurveda Specialist Doctor at the Government Ayurveda Hospital, Srinivasapura, under the General category. Selected Specialist Doctors will serve at the upgraded AYUSH hospitals under centrally sponsored schemes within Kolar district. The monthly consolidated remuneration is ₹52,550 plus a PG Allowance of ₹5,000. Selection is made on the basis of Merit at 70 percent, Experience at 20 percent and Interview at 10 percent, with the merit list prepared from marks obtained in the degree. Appointees must reside at headquarters and remain available round the clock for emergency service. The contract runs until 31 March 2027 and carries no claim to permanent appointment, pension, gratuity, pay scale or allowances, and no transfer or deputation to any other hospital or district is permitted. A residence certificate obtained from the concerned municipality or Tahsildar must be submitted compulsorily. If the last date is declared a government holiday, the following day is treated as the final date.

Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor: MS or MD postgraduate degree. If postgraduate degree holders are not available, a BHMS degree with a minimum of 3 years experience will be considered without PG Allowance. Ayurveda Specialist Doctor: MS in Shalya Tantra or MD in Panchakarma or Kayachikitsa.

Minimum 18 years completed as on the date of application. Maximum age for General candidates: 40 years. Maximum age for Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B candidates: 43 years. Maximum age for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Category-1 candidates: 45 years. These limits already include the one-time relaxation of 5 years granted to all categories under Karnataka Government Order No. CASUE 262 SENENI 2025 dated 29.01.2026. Physically handicapped candidates and widows receive 10 years age relaxation as per rules.

• Ayurveda Specialist Doctor: MS in Shalya Tantra or MD in Panchakarma or Kayachikitsa
• Minimum 18 years of age completed as on the date of application
• Maximum age 40 years for General, 43 years for Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, and 45 years for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Category-1
• Physically handicapped candidates and widows receive 10 years age relaxation as per rules
• Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor post is reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates
• Ayurveda Specialist Doctor post is under the General category
• Residence certificate from the concerned municipality or Tahsildar is compulsory
• Candidate must be willing to reside at headquarters and be available 24 hours for emergency service
