AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 — 8 Posts, Apply Online by 30 Sep (Nagpur, Maharashtra)

Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Schedule "A" Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has released AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 through its Regional Headquarters at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, under Advt No. 01/2026/APPRENTICE (Graduate/Diploma)/Nagpur, for 8 Graduate and Diploma Apprentice seats across Engineering, HR, and Finance disciplines. This is a one-year apprenticeship training opportunity under the Apprentices Act, restricted to candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, in or near Nagpur. Selected apprentices will undergo hands-on training at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, across Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HR, Finance, and Mechanical Engineering functions depending on the discipline. Candidates aged 18 to 26 years as on 31 July 2026, holding a relevant Degree or Diploma with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), who passed their qualifying examination on or after 1 April 2022, are eligible to apply. Selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification/interview and a medical fitness certificate at the time of joining. Graduate Apprentices receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000, while Diploma Apprentices receive ₹12,000, split between AAI and the Government's share disbursed via BOAT. The AAI Apprentice 2026-27 online application is available through the BOAT/NATS 2.0 portal at nats.education.gov.in. The last date to apply online is 30 September 2026, with the application window having opened on 28 August 2026. There is no application fee for any category. Candidates must read the complete official notification carefully before applying, as this is a training engagement with no obligation on AAI to offer regular employment on completion, and applying for more than one discipline leads to rejection.

• Graduate Apprentice (Engineering — Civil): Full-time regular 4-year B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institution, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Graduate Apprentice (Engineering — Electrical): Full-time regular 4-year B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institution, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Graduate Apprentice (HR): Degree in any stream with knowledge of computer and administrative work, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Graduate Apprentice (Finance): Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Diploma Apprentice (Engineering — Civil): 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institution, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Diploma Apprentice (Engineering — Electrical): 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Diploma Apprentice (Engineering — Mechanical): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination on or after 01.04.2022 and not completed more than 5 years since passing, as on the date of joining

• Minimum 18 years, Maximum 26 years as on 31.07.2026
• SC/ST and PwBD — 5 years relaxation; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) — 3 years relaxation

• Full-time regular Degree/Diploma in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-recognised institution, minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
• Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination on or after 01.04.2022, with not more than 5 years elapsed since passing as on the date of joining
• Age 18 to 26 years as on 31.07.2026, with relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC as specified
• Candidates must be domiciled in Maharashtra, in Nagpur or the nearby area of Nagpur
• Candidates who have already completed, terminated midway, or are currently pursuing an apprenticeship elsewhere at the same qualification level are not eligible
• Candidates with 1 year or more of training/job experience after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible
• Applying for more than one discipline results in automatic rejection of the application
• OBC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate in the prescribed proforma

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000/- per month (₹8,850 Establishment share + ₹6,150 Government share via BOAT)
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹12,000/- per month (₹6,550 Establishment share + ₹5,450 Government share via BOAT)

1. Register on the BOAT/NATS 2.0 Portal as a student at nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php or moenats.aicte-india.org/student_register.php
2. Complete enrollment/registration as Student/Apprentice on the portal
3. Apply against the AAI advertisement listed on the dashboard
4. Await document verification by BOAT following registration
5. After verification, apply to Airports Authority of India, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur (Establishment No. WMHMCC000058), under your desired trade
6. Ensure only one discipline is selected — applying for more than one leads to rejection
7. Submit the application online through the NATS portal only; other modes are not accepted
8. Ensure the application is submitted before the last date of 30 September 2026
9. Retain the registration and application confirmation for future reference
