(AMTRON) has released AUP Recruitment 2026 under Notice No. AEDC/HRD/AUP/Adv./672 dated 24 July 2026, for 15 contractual posts under the Assam Unified Portal (AUP) Project. The drive covers six categories — Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, CMS Developer (Drupal Headless), Content Manager, Database Administrator, and Graphic Designer — building and maintaining Assam's citizen-facing digital government portal. Selected candidates will work on the AUP's dual-zone architecture spanning the Citizen Portal and Internal Publisher's Workbench, using technologies including React JS, Python (FastAPI), Drupal headless CMS, and PostgreSQL/MySQL. Selection for Developer and Database Administrator posts involves a Technical/Practical Assessment plus Viva-Voce; Content Manager and Graphic Designer posts involve a Viva-Voce plus portfolio review. This is a purely contractual engagement, initially 11 months, extendable annually up to 3 years based on performance, with salaries ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹90,000 per month depending on post and assessed proficiency. • Frontend/Backend/CMS Developer, Database Administrator: BE/B.Tech in CS/IT or equivalent, MCA, M.Sc. (IT), or BCA with relevant certification (DBA); minimum 3 years' experience (5 years for Senior level)
• Content Manager: Graduate in Mass Communication/Journalism/English or IT, with working knowledge of CMS platforms; minimum 3 years' experience in content management/digital publishing
• Graphic Designer: Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Visual Communication; minimum 3 years' experience in web/digital design

• 21 to 38 years, as on 1 January 2026
• SC/ST(Hills)/ST(Plains): 5 years relaxation | OBC/MOBC: 3 years relaxation | PwD: 10 years relaxation, as per Govt. of Assam norms
