APSC Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 — 137 Posts, Apply by 06 Sep (Assam)

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. 11/2026 for 137 Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer (VO/BVO) posts under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Government of Assam. Candidates holding a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and permanent residents of Assam are eligible to apply for this direct-recruitment state government role. Selected Veterinary Officers/Block Veterinary Officers will serve across Assam's Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, in a role carrying Pay Band 4 with Grade Pay ₹12,700. • Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 per month, Grade Pay ₹12,700, Pay Band 4, plus other admissible allowances
