BHEL Hyderabad Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 — 280 ITI Posts, Apply Online by 22 July (Telangana)

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Hyderabad Unit — one of India's largest Navratna Central Government PSUs under the Ministry of Heavy Industries — has announced Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for 280 ITI posts at its Hyderabad (Ramachandrapuram) manufacturing facility. BHEL manufactures power plant equipment, industrial machinery, transformers, and defence systems, making it one of India's most prestigious engineering organisations. Selected Trade Apprentices will undergo one year of structured hands-on practical training at BHEL's Hyderabad plant under the Apprentices Act 1961. Training at a Navratna PSU like BHEL significantly strengthens a candidate's technical profile, provides industry exposure, and improves future employment prospects in core engineering sectors both in government and private sector. Applications must be submitted through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in before 22 July 2026. No application fee is charged. - ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade from a recognised ITI - 10th pass (Matriculation) with minimum 50% marks from a recognised board - Eligible trades: Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Welder, Machinist, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and others - Age: 14 to 24 years (SC/ST: up to 26 years) as per Apprentices Act 1961 - Must not have previously undergone apprenticeship training in the same trade - Should not be employed full-time in any organisation - Must have active registration on Apprenticeship India portal

Stipend as per Apprentices Act 1961: ₹7,700 to ₹9,600 per month depending on trade and training year. No additional allowances during apprenticeship.
