Overview
Coal India Limited (CIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Coal and the world's largest coal producer, has released Advt. No. 01/2026 for 276 Management Trainee (Mining) posts in E-1 grade, based on GATE 2025 scores in Mining Engineering. Selection is purely on the basis of GATE 2025 marks — no separate written exam. Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification and medical examination.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 60% (55% for reserved) + valid GATE 2025 score in Mining Engineering
Age Limit
30 years max as on 30 April 2026; +3 OBC-NCL, +5 SC/ST, +10-15 PwBD per rules
Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Mining Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized university/institution.
- Must hold a valid GATE 2025 score in Mining Engineering.
- Age: maximum 30 years as on 30 April 2026 (relaxation per govt norms).
