Coal India MT (Mining) 2026 — Management Trainee via GATE 2025 (276 Posts)

Coal India Limited (CIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Coal and the world's largest coal producer, has released Advt. No. 01/2026 for 276 Management Trainee (Mining) posts in E-1 grade, based on GATE 2025 scores in Mining Engineering. Selection is purely on the basis of GATE 2025 marks — no separate written exam. Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification and medical examination.

B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 60% (55% for reserved) + valid GATE 2025 score in Mining Engineering

30 years max as on 30 April 2026; +3 OBC-NCL, +5 SC/ST, +10-15 PwBD per rules

• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Mining Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized university/institution.
• Must hold a valid GATE 2025 score in Mining Engineering.
• Age: maximum 30 years as on 30 April 2026 (relaxation per govt norms).

E-1 grade, ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 + DA, HRA, perks & allowances
