Overview
The High Court of Delhi has released the Delhi Higher Judicial Service (DHJS) Preliminary Examination Admit Card 2026 for 27 vacancies, comprising 24 existing and 3 anticipated posts filled through the 25 per cent direct recruitment quota from the Bar. The hall ticket was published on 21 July 2026 at delhihighcourt.nic.in. Candidates who applied between 1 and 15 July 2026 can download it using their Registration ID and password or date of birth. The DHJS Preliminary Examination 2026 will be held on Sunday, 26 July 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates should note that the paper carries 25 per cent negative marking for wrong answers, so blind guessing is costly here in a way it is not in several other judicial service prelims. The preliminary stage is qualifying only; the final merit list is prepared from the Mains examination and the viva-voce. Selected officers are appointed in the J-5 pay scale of Rs 1,44,840 to Rs 1,94,660 per month. Download the Delhi HJS admit card 2026 from delhihighcourt.nic.in and verify your name, roll number and examination centre address immediately. Eligibility for this recruitment is restricted to advocates with a minimum of seven years of continuous practice, aged 35 to 45 years as on 15 July 2026. Carry the printed admit card and an original photo ID to the centre, and reach well before the reporting time as entry is barred once the gates close.
