Overview
Delhi Police has postponed the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for candidates shortlisted in the Delhi Police Examination-2025 for Constable (Executive), Constable (Driver), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO) posts. The PE&MT, which was earlier scheduled to begin on 25 July 2026, has been deferred due to administrative reasons, and revised dates will be announced separately. Around 66,000 candidates were shortlisted to appear for the physical round out of 7,201 Constable (Executive) vacancies alone, split between male and female candidates, along with the Head Constable posts under this cycle. Candidates who already hold PE&MT admit cards for the earlier schedule should not report on the previously notified dates, since fresh admit cards will be issued once the revised schedule is finalised. The PE&MT consists of a qualifying Physical Endurance Test (race, long jump, high jump) followed by the Physical Measurement Test for height and chest. Candidates should regularly check the official Delhi Police recruitment portal for the revised PE&MT schedule and the fresh e-Admit Card once issued. Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID and the required passport-size photographs to the examination venue whenever the revised dates are announced.
