Office of the Director of Land Records & Surveys (DLRS), Assam, has released DLRS Assam Land Record Assistant Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. DLR-11013(21)/50/2025/372, dated 19 September 2026 (superseding an earlier advertisement dated 14 March 2026), for 579 Land Record Assistant (LRA) posts at District Commissioners' offices across Assam (except Sixth Schedule areas). This recruitment is restricted to candidates who have already completed the 6-month RCCC (Recorders Certificate Class Course) Training at the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati, and were declared proficient in Survey and Settlement subjects prior to 13 August 2026. Candidates aged 21 to 40 years, as on 1 January 2026, can apply online at sebaonline.org from 21 September 2026, 11:00 AM, to 21 October 2026, 5:00 PM. Selected Land Record Assistants will support land record maintenance, survey and settlement work at District Commissioners' offices across Assam. The selection process is a Written Examination (80 marks, MCQ, covering Mathematics/Conventional Survey/Modern Survey, with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer), followed by a Computer Skill Test (20 marks, English and Assamese/Bengali typing) and Document Verification. Pay scale for DLRS Assam Land Record Assistant 2026 is PB-2 (₹14,000–₹70,000) plus Grade Pay ₹6,200, plus usual state allowances. 6. Complete submission before the closing time, 5:00 PM on 21 October 2026.
7. If already in Central/State Government service, apply through proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of document verification.
8. Keep original documents, category certificates and RCCC certificate ready for verification if shortlisted.
