DRDO ITR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is out for 54 apprenticeship seats. The Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, the DRDO missile test range on the Odisha coast, has issued Advertisement No. ITR/HRD/AT/11/2026 for 32 Graduate Apprentices and 22 Technician (Diploma) Apprentices. The biggest openings are in Computer Science and Electronics, with 8 seats each for both graduates and diploma holders, alongside seats in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace and Safety Engineering, Library Science, BBA, B.Com, Cinematography and Medical Laboratory Technology. Apprentices train for 12 months at ITR Chandipur, with a stipend of ₹12,300 per month for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 per month for Technician Apprentices. Only regular candidates who passed their degree or diploma between 2022 and 2026 can apply, and anyone with a year or more of post-qualification experience or a higher degree is excluded. ITR may shortlist applicants and then hold a written test, an interview or both, followed by document verification and a medical fitness certificate at joining. To apply, first register on the NATS 2.0 portal, then fill the typed Annexure-A form from the DRDO notification, attach self-attested documents and a photograph, and send it by Speed Post or Registered Post to The Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha – 756025. The application must reach ITR by 02 November 2026. No application fee is mentioned.

• Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): B.Lib.Sc (Library Science), BBA (Administration/HR) or B.Com (Financial/Cost Accounting)
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Cinematography or Medical Laboratory Technology
• Degree or diploma passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 as a regular full-time candidate
• Candidates with 1 year or more of training or job experience after qualifying, or with higher qualifications, are not eligible
• Registration on the NATS 2.0 portal is mandatory

• Minimum 18 years
• Upper age limit as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and NATS 2.0 guidelines

• Indian nationals with a BE/B.Tech, B.Lib.Sc, BBA, B.Com or Diploma in the notified discipline
• Passing year 2022 to 2026; earlier pass-outs are not eligible
• Regular full-time course only; distance or part-time degrees are not accepted
• Not eligible if you have 1 year or more of training or job experience after qualifying
• Not eligible if you hold a higher qualification than the one required
• Minimum age 18 years
• Mandatory registration on the NATS 2.0 portal with a valid enrollment number
• Marks to be given as a percentage; CGPA converted as per university rules
• Reservation as per the Apprentices Act; PwBD eligible only for designated disciplines

3. Download the Annexure-A application form from the notification
4. Type the form, signing it by hand only
5. Enter your NATS enrollment number, discipline and marks in percentage
6. Attach self-attested copies of your degree or diploma certificate, mark sheets, ID and category certificate, plus a passport-size photo
7. Write "Application for Apprenticeship Training: Category ... & Subject/Discipline ..." on the envelope
8. Send it by Speed Post or Registered Post to The Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha – 756025
9. Ensure it reaches ITR by 02 November 2026
