DTL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 — 63 Posts, Apply by 31 July (Delhi)

Delhi Transco Limited (DTL), the State Transmission Utility of the Government of NCT of Delhi, has opened DTL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for 63 apprentice trainee positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The 63 tentative slots are split into 25 Graduate Apprentice (Engineering), 25 Technician Apprentice for diploma holders, and 13 Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering). DTL was constituted on 1 July 2002 and discharges the transmission functions laid down for a State Transmission Utility under Clause 39(2) of the Electricity Act, 2003, operating the transmission network that carries power across the national capital. Apprentices are attached to the DTL Training Department and gain a year of hands-on exposure to high-voltage transmission operations, substation practice and utility administration, depending on the trade they are engaged in. There is no written examination and no interview for this recruitment. Registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal is mandatory before the application is posted. Candidates must hold an Aadhaar-linked bank account enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer.

Minimum 18 years. No upper age limit is specified in the official notification.
