ESIC Bihta Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 — 41 Posts, Walk-in 08-10 Sep (Bihar)

ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, Patna, under the Employees' State Insurance Corporation, has invited applications for a walk-in interview under Advertisement No. 11 of 2026 (Letter No. 423-A/12/28/2026(S.R.)) for 41 contractual posts of Senior Resident and Super Specialist Senior Resident. This is a Central Government medical opportunity in Bihar across 25 departments, spanning Anaesthesiology, Pathology, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, and super-specialty departments such as Cardiology, Nephrology and Neurology. Doctors holding an MD/MS/DNB in the concerned speciality, with valid NMC or State Medical Council registration, are eligible to appear directly for the walk-in interview without any online application. Selected Senior Residents and Super Specialist Senior Residents will be posted at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, with General Medicine residents rotating through Medical ICU, Respiratory ICU, Dialysis Unit and Casualty, and General Surgery residents rotating through Trauma Care Ward and Surgical ICU. The selection process for ESIC Bihta Senior Resident 2026 is a direct walk-in interview based on credentials and performance before the Selection Board; there is no written examination. Selected candidates receive a fixed basic pay of ₹67,700 per month plus other admissible allowances, on a 1-year contract renewable subject to performance and institutional requirement, with a ₹20,000 security deposit payable at the time of joining. Candidates for ESIC Bihta Senior Resident 2026 must report to the College Council Room, College Building, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, Patna – 801103, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the date applicable to their department: 08 September 2026 for Super Specialty departments, 09 September 2026 for Pre and Para Clinical departments, and 10 September 2026 for Clinical departments. The application fee is ₹500 for most categories, payable by Demand Draft, with SC/ST/ESIC regular employees/Female/Ex-Servicemen/PH candidates exempted. MD/MS/DNB in the concerned Speciality from a recognized University, as per the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2025. For TB & Chest, MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine, Chest Medicine, or Respiratory Medicine is also eligible. Candidates must hold a valid NMC or State Medical Council registration. Candidates awaiting their final PG result may apply but must produce the passing certificate before the interview; those appearing for the Final Year PG Exam in September 2026 must produce the certificate before the offer of appointment. Eligibility for qualifying degree and experience is reckoned as on the date of interview.

• Purely contractual engagement for 1 year, renewable subject to performance and institutional requirement, terminable with 1 month's notice from either side
• No private practice allowed in any capacity after joining; accommodation available on campus, with daily attendance marked via AEBAS

4. Report to the College Council Room, College Building, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bihta, Patna – 801103, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the date applicable to your department
5. Carry all original documents for verification along with self-attested copies; candidates will not be allowed to appear without original document verification
6. Appear before the Selection Board for the interview on the same day; application forms are not accepted after 11:00 AM
7. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing at the interview or for submitting documents
8. Retain a copy of your filled application and all documents for future reference

10. Await the Offer of Appointment, which will be sent by email to selected candidates
