Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released ESIC Pune Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 under Advt No. 08 of 2026 for 35 contractual government job vacancies at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune. This Maharashtra govt jobs 2026 opportunity spans 6 Professor, 11 Associate Professor, 7 Assistant Professor, 1 Senior Resident (1 Year), and 10 Senior Resident (3 Years) posts. Pay ranges from approximately ₹1,50,000 per month for Assistant Professor and Senior Resident to ₹2,57,000 for Professor. The ESIC Pune walk-in interviews are scheduled across 11-13 August 2026, with reporting time 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Office of the Dean/Medical Superintendent, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune. Application fee is ₹500 for General category, exempted for SC/ST/ESIC Regular Employee/Female/Defence Ex-Servicemen/PwD candidates. Candidates must qualify as per NMC guidelines and should read the complete official ESIC notification before attending.

Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Senior Resident (1 Year/3 Years): As per National Medical Commission (NMC, erstwhile MCI) guidelines for the respective post and specialty.

• Teaching Faculty: Not exceeding 68 years
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years
• Age calculated as on 11 August 2026; relaxation as per Govt. of India rules

• Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Senior Resident: qualification as per National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines for the respective specialty
• Age: Not exceeding 68 years (teaching faculty), not exceeding 45 years (Senior Resident), as on 11 August 2026
• Contractual engagement, tied to ESIC Medical College and Hospital's shift to its new building

• SC/ST/ESIC Regular Employee/Female/Defence Ex-Servicemen/PwD: Nil
• All other categories: ₹500

• Professor: Pay Level 13, approx. ₹2,57,000 per month
• Associate Professor: Pay Level 12, approx. ₹1,70,000 per month
• Assistant Professor / Senior Resident: Pay Level 11, approx. ₹1,50,000 per month

1. Download and fill the prescribed application form from https://esic.gov.in
2. Prepare all original documents — 10th certificate, MBBS degree, PG/DNB degree, NMC/State Medical Council registration
3. Prepare one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents
4. Prepare the Demand Draft for the applicable fee (₹500), in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.-1", payable at Pune, if applicable
5. Carry caste/EWS certificate, Aadhaar card, experience certificates and publication proof if applicable
6. Carry NOC from current employer if applicable
7. Report to the Office of the Dean/Medical Superintendent, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune, between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM on the relevant date (11-13 August 2026)
8. Reach the venue well in advance to complete registration formalities
