Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has released FDDI Superintending Engineer Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. FDDI/ADV/3/2026, for the Engineering & Maintenance (Projects) department at its Head Office. This is a senior, long-term contract government job 2026 opportunity for Civil Engineering graduates with at least 20 years of relevant infrastructure and construction management experience. The selected Superintending Engineer will plan, design, organise and control Civil infrastructure projects, manage tendering processes, prepare work estimates per CPWD Manual standards, and oversee Civil maintenance works, with possible coordination of projects across multiple FDDI campuses. The appointment is on a long-term contract basis (3-5 years, extendable at FDDI's discretion based on performance), and the selection process consists of a written test and/or interview. The post carries a monthly Cost-to-Institute of ₹1,20,000, inclusive of Basic Pay, HRA, Special Allowance, PF, Leave Encashment, LTC and other benefits. B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks from a recognised University/Institute (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. in Civil Engineering desirable), with at least 20 years of experience in planning, designing, organising and controlling Civil infrastructure, having handled at least 5 Civil construction projects, with knowledge of the Tendering process, work estimate preparation, in-depth knowledge of CPWD Manuals, and experience in Civil maintenance works.
