IIP Delhi Recruitment 2026 — 20 Posts (Professor to Young Professional), Apply by 22 Aug

Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has released Recruitment 2026 for 20 posts across academic and non-academic roles at its Delhi centre, on a purely temporary and contractual basis. This central government job spans Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Academic Counselor, Young Professional, Laboratory Attendant, and Packaging Designer positions. Selected candidates will be engaged initially for one year, subject to renewal based on performance, with no PF, pension, gratuity, or other regular-employee benefits attached to these posts. • Professor (Technology/Emeritus): Retired academician from IIT/NIT/institution of repute, Ph.D. in Packaging/Printing/Textile/Polymer Technology or allied fields
• Professor (Management): Ph.D. in Management/Business Administration with 10+ years' experience, or an outstanding industry professional
• Associate Professor (Management/Smart & Intelligent Packaging): Ph.D. with 8 years' teaching/research experience
• Assistant Professor (Management/AI-ML/Sustainable Packaging/Packaging Design/Printing & Graphic Designs): Post-specific Master's or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Lecturer (Communication Skills): Master's with 55% marks in English/Communication/Linguistics/Journalism
• Academic Counselor/Liaison/Placement Officer: MBA in Marketing or HR
• Young Professional (Admin/Instrumentation/Library): Graduate/B.Sc./M.Sc./Master's per post, with relevant experience
• Laboratory Attendant: 12th Pass with Science, ITI preferred
• Packaging Designer: M.Des in Product/Industrial Design from NID/IITs or reputed institutes

• Associate Professor (Management/Smart & Intelligent Packaging): up to 50 years
• Assistant Professor (Management/AI-ML/Sustainable Packaging/Packaging Design/Printing & Graphic Designs): up to 35 years
• Laboratory Attendant: up to 27 years
• Not specified for remaining posts

• Post-specific qualification ranging from 12th Pass (Laboratory Attendant) to Ph.D. (Professor/Assistant Professor posts)
• Age limit specified only for select posts, ranging from 27 to 50 years
• Purely temporary contractual engagement, initially for 1 year
