Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has released Recruitment 2026 for 4 posts at its Mumbai Head Office, on a contractual basis. This central government job spans Packaging Designer (2 posts) and Technical Assistant (2 posts), open to candidates holding a design or science/engineering degree. • Technical Assistant: Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology with 1 year's experience in Testing/Research/Packaging Design/Packaging Industry

• Packaging Designer: Maximum 40 years (43 for OBC, 45 for SC/ST)
• Technical Assistant: Maximum 30 years (33 for OBC, 35 for SC/ST)

• Packaging Designer: B.Des. (2 yrs experience) or M.Des. (1 yr experience), with design software proficiency
• Technical Assistant: Science/Engineering/Technology degree with 1 year's relevant experience
• Age up to 40 years (Packaging Designer) or 30 years (Technical Assistant), with category relaxation
• No application fee for any category

• Packaging Designer: ₹50,000/month (consolidated)
• Technical Assistant: ₹35,000/month (consolidated)
