JKSSB PWD Draftsman & Works Supervisor 2026 — Public Works R&B Department, J&K (357 Posts)

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2026 dated 06 July 2026 for 357 Divisional Cadre posts of Draftsman (Civil) and Works Supervisor under the Public Works (R&B) Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir. Vacancies are distributed across the Jammu and Kashmir Divisions with reservation for Open Merit (OM), SC, ST-1, ST-2, RBA (Residents of Backward Areas), EWS, OBC, and ALC/IB (Areas adjoining LAC/International Border) categories. This is separate from the JKSSB Warder Recruitment (Advt. 05 of 2026, 288 posts) — together JKSSB is recruiting 645 posts. Selection through Written/OMR objective-type examination followed by Document Verification. Negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer. Only J&K domicile candidates are eligible. Exam date and venue will be notified separately on jkssb.nic.in.

Draftsman (Civil): Matriculation + Draftsman Training Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Works Supervisor: Matriculation + ITI Certificate in relevant trade (Civil/Mechanical).

Maximum 40 years (Open Merit); up to 43 years for reserved categories, as on 01 January 2026

• Draftsman (Civil): Matriculation + Draftsman Training Certificate or 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized institute.
• Works Supervisor: Matriculation + ITI Certificate in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
• Must be domicile/permanent resident of J&K.
• Maximum age 40 years (Open Merit), up to 43 years for reserved categories, as on 01 January 2026.

1. Visit jkssb.nic.in from 01 August 2026.
2. Register and fill the online application form.
3. Upload photo, signature, and required documents (matriculation certificate, ITI/Diploma certificate, domicile certificate, category certificate).
4. Pay fee online and submit before 30 August 2026.
