Konkan Railway KRCL Recruitment 2026 — 40 Posts Walk-in Interview, Technician & Safety Officer (Maharashtra)

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. CO/P-R/12C/2026 dated 10 July 2026 for 40 fixed-term contract posts across 11 categories including Technician (Fitter), CNC Machine Operator, Senior and Junior Technical Assistant, Safety Officer, NDT Technician, EOT/Fork Lift/Tug Operator and Welder. KRCL Recruitment 2026 is a walk-in interview drive for ITI, Diploma and Degree holders in engineering trades looking for railway jobs in Maharashtra. Selected candidates are engaged on a fixed-term contract for an initial period of one year, extendable, with consolidated monthly pay ranging from ₹35,500 to ₹57,140 depending on the post and station class, plus a 4 percent annual increment. The largest openings are for CNC Machine Operator (10 posts), Technician-Fitter (8 posts) and Fitter–Mechatronics Maintenance (6 posts). Selection is by walk-in interview with an optional screening test or group discussion, followed by merit-based selection. The KRCL walk-in interviews are held from 20 July 2026 to 27 July 2026 at Kajali Club, Near RRM Office, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, with registration between 09:00 and 12:00 hrs on the scheduled date for each post. Post-wise: Full-time Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Production Engineering for Technical Assistant posts; Diploma in Industrial Safety plus Engineering/Science qualification for Safety Officer; ITI (Fitter / Welder / Machinist) or 10th pass for Technician and Operator posts. Relevant work experience of 1 to 3 years required depending on the post. Selection through walk-in interview on a fixed-term contract basis (initial 1 year, extendable).

Upper age 40 years as on 01 July 2026 (30 June 2026 for Welder). Relaxation: OBC-NCL 3 years; SC/ST 5 years as per rules.

• Indian citizenship; candidates bear their own travel expenses (no TA/DA)

No application fee. Selected candidates must furnish an indemnity bond of ₹50,000. No TA/DA paid for attending the walk-in.

Consolidated monthly remuneration by post and station class — Senior Technical Assistant ₹50,060 to ₹57,140; Junior Technical Assistant and Safety Officer ₹41,380 to ₹47,220; Technician and Operator posts ₹35,500 to ₹40,500. Annual increment 4 percent; benefits under New Labour Code 2026.
