MP Anganwadi Merit List 2026 — 2,548 Posts, Phase-1 Provisional List Out

The Directorate of Women and Child Development (WCD), Madhya Pradesh has released the provisional merit list for Anganwadi Worker (Karyakarta) and Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika) recruitment 2026, Phase-1, covering 2,548 vacancies across the state. The merit list was published on 22 July 2026 on the MP Online Chayan portal at chayan.mponline.gov.in, following an application window that ran from 01 July to 13 July 2026. Separate provisional merit lists have been issued for the general category and for the Special Caste category covering Sahariya, Bhariya and Baiga candidates, with distinct lists for Worker and Helper posts. There is no written examination or interview in this recruitment. Selection is made purely on educational merit, so the provisional merit list effectively determines the outcome subject only to objections and verification. Vacancies are notified district-wise and Anganwadi-centre-wise rather than as a single state list, because recruitment is conducted separately for each Anganwadi centre. Candidates therefore need to locate their own centre rather than searching a consolidated list. Two different access routes apply depending on which list you need. For the general merit list, open the Download Merit List for Phase-1 Recruitment 2026 link under Important Links and log in with your application number and date of birth along with the captcha. For the Special Caste provisional merit list, the portal uses a location-based search instead of a login: select your Sambhag, then District, then Project and Anganwadi Centre, enter the captcha, and the merit list for that centre is displayed. Candidates who object to the merit list or the selection process may file a claim or objection through the portal within 7 days of the list being published, so anyone disputing their position should act promptly rather than waiting for the final list.
