The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the notification for the Group C Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2026 with a massive 2,619 vacancies across five cadres — Clerk-Typist, Tax Assistant, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI), Industry Inspector, and Technical Assistant. This is one of the largest MPSC recruitments in recent years. Applications open on 27 June 2026 and close on 19 July 2026 through the MPSC Online portal (mpsconline.gov.in). Eligibility

* Tax Assistant: Bachelor's degree + both Marathi Typing 30 WPM AND English Typing 40 WPM.
* AMVI: 10th pass + Diploma or Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Industry Inspector: Diploma in Engineering (non-Civil branches) OR B.Sc (non-vocational) from statutory university.
* Technical Assistant: Bachelor's degree.
* Must read/write/speak Marathi fluently.
* Age 19–38 years as on 01 February 2026.
