NIACL Apprentice 2026 — New India Assurance Company Apprenticeship (550 Posts)

The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL), India's largest public sector general insurance company under the Ministry of Finance, has released the notification for engagement of 550 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27. Online registration opened today, 23 June 2026, and closes on 06 July 2026. Selected candidates will undergo a 12-month apprenticeship training in general insurance operations at NIACL branches across India, receiving a monthly stipend of ₹12,300. Selection is through an Online Written Examination (scheduled 12 July 2026). Candidates must first register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) and BFSI SSC portal (bfsissc.com) before applying on the NIACL website. Candidates with prior apprenticeship experience or job experience exceeding 1 year are NOT eligible.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year marksheet date must be between 01 January 2022 and 01 June 2026. Must know the regional language of the State/UT for which applying.

21–30 years as on 01 June 2026; relaxation per govt rules (OBC +3, SC/ST +5, PwBD +10)

• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Final year marksheet/degree date between 01 January 2022 and 01 June 2026.
• Must know the regional language of the State/UT for which applying.
• No prior apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act (with NIACL or any other org).
• No job experience exceeding 1 year after graduation.
• Age 21–30 years as on 01 June 2026 (relaxation per govt rules).
• Indian citizen.

₹12,300/month stipend for 12-month apprenticeship. No other benefits/allowances. This is an apprenticeship — does not guarantee permanent employment.

3. Click "Apply Online" and sign up as new user.
4. Fill the application form, upload photo, signature, and graduation certificate.
5. Pay fee online and submit before 06 July 2026.
