NMDC Steel Executive Trainee 2026 — 102 Posts, Apply by 11 Aug (All India)

NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), a Government of India enterprise functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel, has released the Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 notification under Employment Notification No. 05/2026 for 102 Executive Trainee posts. The vacancies span ten engineering and management disciplines, with the highest number in Mechanical (51 posts), followed by Electrical (22 posts) and Finance (7 posts). Selected candidates will be posted at the 3.0 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh, one of India's newest greenfield steel facilities. Selected Executive Trainees will undergo a six-month structured training programme at the Nagarnar Integrated Steel Plant before being appointed as Assistant Manager. The NMDC Steel Executive Trainee 2026 selection process consists of a Computer Based Test carrying 70 per cent weightage, a Group Discussion carrying 15 per cent, and a personal Interview carrying 15 per cent, followed by document verification. The CBT is conducted in English and Hindi with discipline-specific objective multiple-choice questions, and minimum qualifying marks are 50 for UR/EWS, 45 for OBC-NCL and 40 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The salary during training is ₹50,000 per month basic plus IDA, rising to the ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000 pay scale on confirmation as Assistant Manager. • Executive Trainee (Human Resources) — 3 posts: Graduation with PG Degree or PG Diploma in HR, HRM, IR, IRPM, Personnel Management, Social Work, Sociology or Labour Welfare, or MBA (HR/Personnel Management)
• Executive Trainee (Metallurgy) — 3 posts: Degree in Metallurgy Engineering
• Executive Trainee (Instrumentation) — 2 posts: Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
