Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, has released Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 for 1 post. This Punjab government job is open to candidates with a B.Sc/B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Forestry background, or M.Sc. Soil Science with or without NET qualification. The position is offered under the scheme "Exploring the Agroforestry Potential and Environmental Risks of Paper Industry Wastewater" (PC-5438). The selected Research Fellow will support soil testing and analysis work under this agroforestry research scheme at PAU, Ludhiana. The selection process for this recruitment consists of an interview, to be held on 31 August 2026, with preference given to candidates who have prior experience in soil testing and analysis. The salary is ₹31,000 per month fixed plus 16% HRA for NET-qualified candidates, or ₹25,000 per month plus 16% HRA for candidates without NET. • B.Sc / B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.Sc. Forestry with minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0 or 60% marks
• M.Sc. Soil Science with minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0 or 65% marks, CSIR-UGC/ICAR NET qualified
• M.Sc. Soil Science with minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0 or 65% marks, without NET (lower stipend)
• Ph.D. in the discipline required at Master's level is also eligible
• Preference given to candidates with experience in soil testing and analysis
