High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh (Punjab and Haryana High Court) has released the Punjab and Haryana High Court Driver and Frash Recruitment 2026 for 56 posts, under Employment Notice No. 04/DRV/HC/2026 and 05/Frash/HC/2026, both dated 28 August 2026. The Punjab and Haryana High Court is the common High Court for the states of Punjab and Haryana and the Union Territory of Chandigarh, and its main building, the Palace of Justice, designed by Le Corbusier, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This recruitment covers 25 Driver posts and 31 Frash posts and offers a stable state government career in one of India's most prominent judicial institutions. Selected Drivers will operate vehicles for the High Court establishment and may be posted at Delhi or in any district of Punjab and Haryana, while selected Frash staff will be posted at the establishment of the High Court in Chandigarh. The selection process for Driver posts is a Practical Test-cum-Interview, while Frash selection consists of a 50-mark Interview followed by a qualifying Physical Endurance Test covering an 800-metre race, long jump, and high jump. Candidates equivalent to 4 times the advertised Frash vacancies (category-wise) are shortlisted for interview based on merit. The pay scale for both posts follows the Punjab and Haryana state government scale, with additional allowances as per High Court rules. The Punjab and Haryana High Court Driver and Frash 2026 online application is available at the official application portal linked above. The last date to apply for Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026 is 18 September 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Application fee is ₹1,000 for Driver and ₹700 for Frash for General/SC-ST-BC candidates outside Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, and ₹800/₹600 respectively for SC/ST/BC candidates domiciled in these areas and for Ex-servicemen. The High Court has stated that the cut-off date to apply is sacrosanct, and no application will be accepted after the closing date under any circumstances.
