Qualification

- UR/EWS: first-class or minimum 60% marks; Reserved categories: minimum 50% marks
- Degree must be AICTE-recognised and from a university under Act of Parliament/State legislature or UGC-deemed university
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in production/mechanical maintenance at a project site, factory or plant (training/internship/teaching not counted; Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 counted)
Age Limit
- Maximum 32 years as on 17 August 2026
- SC/ST: 5 years; OBC-NCL: 3 years; Ex-Servicemen: service rendered + 3 years; J&K Domicile: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years additional to SC/ST/OBC-NCL relaxation
- RITES Regular/Contract Employees: 5 years additional

- Full-time Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, AICTE-recognised
- UR/EWS: first class or 60%+ marks; Reserved categories: 50%+ marks
