Candidates aged 21 to 50 years, holding a Graduation degree from a UGC-recognised university, with the ability to read, write, and translate English/Urdu text into Balti and a voice suited to broadcasting standards, are eligible to apply offline. The selected Casual Newsreader-cum-Translator will read and translate news bulletins into the Balti language for All India Radio broadcasts from Srinagar.
