RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 — 560 Posts, Apply Online 15 Sep-14 Oct (CEN 05/2026, All India)

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), Ministry of Railways, have released RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2026 under Centralised Employment Notification No. 05/2026 for 590 Paramedical posts — Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist (Entry Grade), Health & Malaria Inspector Grade-II, Radiographer X-Ray Technician, Lab Assistant Grade-II, ECG Technician, Optometrist, Dialysis Technician, and Audiologist & Speech Therapist — across 20 participating RRBs. Candidates aged 18 to 40 years (post-specific), holding qualifications from a 12th-level paramedical diploma to a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Audiology or Optometry, can apply online at rrb.indianrailways.gov.in from 15 September 2026 to 14 October 2026, 23:59 hrs. Selected candidates will serve in Indian Railways' healthcare network across Zonal Railways and Divisional hospitals, providing nursing, pharmacy, diagnostic and paramedical support to railway employees and their families. The selection process is a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 questions/100 marks with negative marking, followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination as per the post's medical standard. Initial pay for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 ranges from ₹21,700 (Lab Assistant Grade-II, Level 3) to ₹44,900 (Nursing Superintendent, Level 7) under the 7th Pay Commission, with an application fee of ₹500 (₹400 refundable on appearing in the CBT) for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹250 (fully refundable) for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC candidates. Candidates for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 must visit rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, create an account with a valid mobile number and email ID, choose only one RRB, capture a live photograph, upload signature and required certificates, pay the applicable fee, and submit before 14 October 2026, 23:59 hrs. 1. Visit the unified RRB website, rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, or rrbapply.gov.in.
2. Create an Account (or use existing RRB login credentials) with a valid personal mobile number and email ID — these cannot be changed later.
3. Authenticate identity via DigiLocker/Aadhaar for smoother verification at later stages, if available.
4. Choose only one RRB, and give your order of preference for posts within that RRB.
5. Capture a live photograph via webcam/phone camera as instructed — pre-existing photo uploads are not allowed.
6. Upload your signature (JPG/JPEG, 30–49 KB) and, if claiming SC/ST free travel, the SC/ST certificate (PDF, under 400 KB).
7. Choose your CBT medium of examination (English, Hindi, or one of 13 regional languages).
8. Pay the examination fee online (net banking/card/UPI) to complete submission.
9. Use the modification window (17–26 October 2026, with ₹250 fee) if corrections are needed — except to Create-an-Account details or your chosen RRB.
10. Download and save the confirmed application for future reference.
