RRB Technician 2026 (CEN 02/2026) — Grade I Signal & Grade III (6,565 Posts) — Applications Open 30 June

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the indicative notice for CEN 02/2026 — Technician Recruitment 2026 — for 6,565 vacancies across Technician Grade-I Signal (323 posts) and Technician Grade-III (6,242 posts) in 21 RRBs and 17 railway zones. Applications open on 30 June 2026; the detailed CEN will be published on 29 June 2026. Selection is through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), document verification, and medical examination. Candidates can apply to only one RRB per pay level.

Grade-I Signal: B.Sc / Diploma / Degree in Engineering; Grade-III: Matriculation (10th) + ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT). Some S&T posts accept 10+2 with Physics & Maths.

Grade-I Signal: 18–33 years; Grade-III: 18–30 years; as on 01 July 2026; relaxation per govt norms

• Technician Grade-I Signal: B.Sc or Diploma/Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Technician Grade-III: Matriculation (10th) pass + ITI in the relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT). Some S&T posts accept 10+2 with Physics & Maths.
• Grade-I: 18–33 years; Grade-III: 18–30 years; as on 01 July 2026 (relaxation per norms).
• Apply to only one RRB — choice is final.

₹500 (Gen/OBC/EWS — ₹400 refundable after CBT); ₹250 (SC/ST/Female/PwBD/Transgender — fully refundable) — confirm from detailed CEN

Grade-I Signal: Pay Level-5, ₹29,200/month; Grade-III: Pay Level-2, ₹19,900/month (+ railway allowances)

1. From 30 June 2026, go to rrbapply.gov.in and register/log in.
2. Open CEN 02/2026 (Technician) and select one RRB zone and pay level.
3. Fill the form, upload photo and signature, and pay the fee (refunded after appearing in CBT).
4. Submit before 29 July 2026 (11:59 PM) and download the confirmation.
