Overview
South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur Division has released the notification for engagement of 1,191 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27. Trades include Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Mechanic Diesel, COPA, Carpenter and more. There is no application fee. Selection is purely on merit — a merit list based on the average of Matriculation and ITI marks (no written exam). Applications are through the NAPS portal.
Eligibility
* Matriculation (10th pass) with at least 50% aggregate marks.
* ITI certificate in the relevant designated trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
* Age 15–24 years (relaxation per govt norms for reserved categories).
* Must not have completed apprenticeship training earlier in the same trade.
