Overview
The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), an elite multi-disciplinary organization under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has released the notification for 38 posts across four levels — Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, and Senior Assistant. SFIO investigates serious cases of corporate fraud, financial irregularities, and violations of the Companies Act 2013. Selected officers will work on high-profile white-collar crime investigations, forensic accounting, legal proceedings, and fraud detection across India. SFIO officers have police-like investigation powers under the Companies Act. Posts are filled on deputation from Central/State Government or on contract basis. Eligibility
* Joint Director: Officers of Central/State Govt holding analogous posts on regular basis in Pay Level 12-13.
* Deputy Director: CA/CMA/MBA (Finance)/LLB/B.Tech with 8-10 years post-qualification experience in audit, investigation, forensic accounting, or legal practice.
* Assistant Director: CA/CMA/MBA/LLB/B.Tech with 5 years relevant experience.
* Senior Assistant: Graduate with 3 years experience in administration/accounts/data management.

Salary
Joint Director: Pay Level 13 (₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900). Deputy Director: Pay Level 11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700). Assistant Director: Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500). Senior Assistant: Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) + DA + HRA + allowances.
