Discipline-specific alternate routes apply for Pharmacy (B.Pharm. + pharmacist registration + First Class Master's + Ph.D. in Pharmacy), Performing Arts (traditional/professional artist route with AIR/Doordarshan "A" grade), Physical Education (sports championship representation route), Computer Science (AICTE 2019 or UGC 2018 Regulations), Management/MBA (Bachelor's + Master's in Business Administration/CA/ICWA + 2 years' experience), and Fine Arts (Bachelor's + Master's with First Class + 2 years' professional experience).

• Physical Education: Master's in Physical Education/Sports (55%) + inter-university/state/national championship representation + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D., OR an Asian Games/Commonwealth Games medal winner with a postgraduate degree
• Computer Science: eligibility as per AICTE Regulations, 2019, or UGC Regulations, 2018 (Master's with 55% in Computer Applications/Computer Science/IT + NET/SLET/SET, or a qualifying Ph.D.)
• Management (MBA): Bachelor's + Master's in Business Administration/CA/IPGDM/ICWA/M.Com (First Class) + 2 years professional experience + NET/GSLET/GSET or Ph.D. (experience exempted for Ph.D. holders from AICTE-approved institutions or IIMs)
• Fine Arts: Bachelor's and Master's degree in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in at least one degree, plus minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
