Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan (subject to eligibility certificate)
- SI in Delhi Police / SI (GD) in CAPFs: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent; final-year candidates may apply but must have the qualification by the closing date
- SI (Fire) in CISF: Bachelor's degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, OR Matriculation plus a 3-year diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Automobile/Chemical/Mining/Aeronautical/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
- Male candidates for SI in Delhi Police must hold a valid LMV Driving Licence (Motorcycle and Car) by the date fixed for PE&MT; without it, they are eligible only for SI posts in CAPFs
- Age: 20-25 years (all posts except SI Fire), 18-30 years (SI Fire in CISF), as on the crucial date 01.08.2026
- Age relaxation: 5 years SC/ST, 3 years OBC, 3 years Ex-Servicemen; widows/divorced/separated women up to 35 years (40 years if SC/ST) for SI Delhi Police; Departmental Delhi Police candidates with 3+ years' service up to 30/33/35 years by category
