• 18 to 35 years for general candidates, as on the last date for receipt of application
• SC/ST (against reserved posts): 5 years relaxation; OBC-NCL (against reserved posts): 3 years; Ex-Servicemen: military service period plus 3 years; PwD: 10 years; SC/ST PwD: 13 years; OBC PwD: 15 years
• Only the Class 10 Board Certificate/Marksheet is accepted as proof of date of birth

• Matriculation plus a National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade, issued by NCVT
• Age 18 to 35 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Ex-Servicemen/PwD candidates as detailed in the Age Limit field
