UPPSC GIC Lecturer Prelims Result 2026 — Shortlisted for Mains, Exam 30 Aug (Uttar Pradesh)

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the Lecturer (GIC) Government Inter College Preliminary Examination Result 2026 on 20 July 2026. The recruitment drive under Advt No. A-6/E-1/2025 covers 1,516 vacancies for Lecturer posts in Government Inter Colleges across Uttar Pradesh in various subjects including Hindi, English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economics, Civics, Sanskrit, Sociology, Psychology, and more. Candidates who appeared in the preliminary exam held on 14 and 17 June 2026 can now download the result PDF from the official UPPSC website at uppsc.up.nic.in. The UPPSC GIC Lecturer Prelims Result 2026 is published in PDF format containing the roll numbers of candidates provisionally shortlisted for the Main examination. As per the declared result, 806 candidates have qualified in Sociology and 1,927 in Geography, among other subjects. Shortlisted candidates must now prepare for the UPPSC GIC Lecturer Mains examination, which is scheduled to be conducted on 30 August 2026. Candidates can check their roll number in the PDF by pressing Ctrl+F and searching for their number. The UPPSC GIC Mains 2026 will be a descriptive examination in the respective subjects. Further updates regarding Mains admit card, schedule, and subsequent selection stages (document verification and interview) will be published on the official UPPSC website. Only candidates who qualify the Mains will be called for the next stages.
