Uttarakhand TET (UTET) 2026 — Teacher Eligibility Test, Apply Online by 03 Aug (Uttarakhand)

Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has announced the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 notification for aspiring teachers seeking government school posts in Uttarakhand. UTET 2026 is a mandatory qualifying exam for appointment as Primary Teacher (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary Teacher (Classes 6–8) in Uttarakhand government schools, as mandated by the Right to Education Act. As of July 2026, the UTET 2026 online application window is open for eligible B.Ed and D.El.Ed candidates. The UTET 2026 consists of Paper I (primary school, Classes 1–5) and Paper II (upper primary, Classes 6–8). Both papers test candidates on Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English or Sanskrit), and subject-specific content. Candidates may appear for one or both papers. The UTET certificate is valid for appointment as per Uttarakhand government service rules. The UTET 2026 online application form is available at the official UBSE website ubse.uk.gov.in. The last date to apply for UTET 2026 is 03 August 2026. Candidates from Uttarakhand seeking Uttarakhand Sarkari Naukri in teaching must hold a valid UTET certificate for government school appointment.
