The notification was issued on 23 July 2026 and the last date to apply is 03 August 2026. Law graduates and final-year law students who are eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India can apply. A Law Researcher is attached to an individual Hon'ble Judge and assists with case law research, precedent analysis and preparation of judicial material, working out of the High Court complex at Nainital. Selection is made through an assessment prescribed by the Hon'ble Judge concerned — only shortlisted candidates are called, the Judge may decide not to interview any particular applicant, and the final selection rests entirely with the Judge to whom the researcher will be attached. The engagement carries a fixed honorarium of Rs. 50,000 per month with no additional allowances or perks. Applications for Uttarakhand High Court Law Researcher 2026 are accepted only through the prescribed Google Form; no other mode will be entertained. There is no application fee.
