AAI NER Apprentice 2026 — Graduate, Diploma & ITI Apprentice, Airports Authority of India Northeast (95 Posts)

Airports Authority of India (AAI), North Eastern Region (NER), Guwahati has released the notification for 95 Apprentice positions across Graduate, Diploma, and ITI categories for the year 2026-27. This is a golden opportunity for candidates from the North Eastern Region to gain 1-year hands-on training at AAI airports across the Northeast including Guwahati, Dimapur, Imphal, Aizawl, Agartala, Silchar, and other regional airports. Candidates must first register on the NATS portal (for Graduate/Diploma) or NAPS portal (for ITI) before applying. Selection based on merit in qualifying exam. No application fee. Preference to candidates from North Eastern states. Selected apprentices gain valuable experience in airport operations, air traffic control support, engineering maintenance, and administrative functions.

Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in relevant discipline. Diploma Apprentice: 3-year Diploma in Engineering. ITI Apprentice: ITI/NCVT certificate in relevant trade. Candidates must be from the North Eastern Region (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura).

18–26 years as on 28 July 2026; relaxation per Central Govt rules

• Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Diploma Apprentice: 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized polytechnic.
• ITI Apprentice: ITI/NCVT certificate in relevant trade.
• Age 18–26 years as on 28 July 2026.
• Should be from the North Eastern Region (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura).
• Must not have completed apprenticeship earlier under Apprentices Act.
• Must register on NATS/NAPS portal.

Stipend as per Apprentices Act 1961 — Graduate: ₹12,300/month; Diploma: ₹10,560/month; ITI: ₹7,000/month for 12-month apprenticeship training
