AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 — Nursing Officer, Apply by 13 Aug

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 notification under Notice No. 103/2026 dated 24 July 2026 for Nursing Officer posts in Group B. The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test is the single national gateway to Nursing Officer appointments at AIIMS New Delhi and participating AIIMS institutes and central government hospitals across India. AIIMS has stated that the detailed vacancy position will be notified separately, so the post count for NORCET 11 has not yet been declared. For reference, NORCET 10 carried 2,551 Nursing Officer vacancies and NORCET 8 carried 1,794. Selected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Officers in Group B at Level 07 of the Pay Matrix, with a basic pay of ₹44,900 per month plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other Central Government allowances. The AIIMS NORCET 11 selection process consists of a two-stage computer-based examination — a Preliminary Examination on 12 September 2026 followed by a Mains Examination on 30 September 2026 — after which shortlisted candidates undergo document verification and a medical examination. Eligibility is open to B.Sc. Nursing and Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing graduates registered with a nursing council, and to GNM diploma holders with at least two years of experience in a hospital of 50 beds or more. The AIIMS NORCET 11 online application is available at aiimsexams.ac.in and opened on 24 July 2026. The last date to apply for AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 is 13 August 2026 at 5:00 pm. The application fee is ₹3,000 for General, UR and OBC candidates and ₹2,400 for SC, ST and EWS candidates, while PwD candidates are exempt. SC and ST candidates who actually appear for the examination will have their fee refunded after results are declared, subject to verification of their category certificates. • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution, along with registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council
• Candidates holding a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma are also eligible, provided they are registered as a Nurse and Midwife and possess a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds
• Registration with the State or Indian Nursing Council is mandatory for all candidates

18 to 30 years as on 13 August 2026. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates as per Government of India norms.

Level 07 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Pay Commission, corresponding to pre-revised Pay Band-2 of ₹9,300 to ₹34,800 with Grade Pay of ₹4,600. Basic pay ₹44,900 per month, plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and other Central Government allowances applicable to Group B posts.

4. Click the NORCET 11 registration link and register with a valid email ID and mobile number that will remain active through the selection process
5. Fill the online application form with accurate personal, educational, registration and contact details exactly as they appear on your documents
6. Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the format and file size specified in the notification
7. Log in again where required to select your preferred examination centres
8. Pay the application fee online — ₹3,000 for General, UR and OBC, ₹2,400 for SC, ST and EWS, and nil for PwD candidates
9. Review every field carefully before final submission and then submit the application on or before 13 August 2026, 5:00 pm
10. Download and print the confirmation page and fee receipt for future reference
