AIIMS Raebareli Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 — 108 Posts, Walk-in 08 Sep (Uttar Pradesh)

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli (AIIMS Raebareli) has released the AIIMS Raebareli Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 notification (Notice No. AIIMS/RBL/REC/SR/2026/480 dated 27 August 2026) for 108 vacancies of Senior Resident across 35 departments, to be filled through walk-in interview on an ad-hoc basis. This is an Uttar Pradesh-based central government medical opportunity at AIIMS Raebareli, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. As a rolling advertisement, this recruitment continuously fills Senior Resident vacancies across the institute's clinical, para-clinical and diagnostic departments, from General Medicine and Trauma & Emergency Medicine to Cardiology, Nephrology and Surgical Oncology. Candidates aged up to 45 years, holding a recognised medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, registered with the Central or State Medical Council, and holding MD/MS/DNB in the concerned broad speciality (or DM/M.Ch/DNB for super-speciality posts), are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. Selected Senior Residents will be posted at AIIMS, Raebareli, Munshiganj, Uttar Pradesh, providing clinical service and training across the institute's 35 departments, with General Medicine/Internal Medicine (10 posts) and Trauma & Emergency Medicine (9 posts) carrying the largest allocations, followed by Cardiology, CTVS and Surgical Oncology with 5-6 posts each, and several smaller departments with 1-2 posts. The AIIMS Raebareli 2026 selection process is based on a personal interview; however, if the number of applicants is large, a written MCQ-based examination is conducted first, with shortlisted candidates from this exam proceeding to the interview. The salary for Senior Resident 2026 is Pay Matrix Level-11, with a minimum basic pay of ₹67,700 per month, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) admissible to medical personnel, as per 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations. Appointments are ad-hoc, initially for six months, extendable at the discretion of the Executive Director, AIIMS Raebareli. • Appointment is purely ad-hoc, initially for 6 months, and does not confer any claim or right to a regular post at AIIMS Raebareli
• Appointees cannot accept any other paid or unpaid assignment, nor engage in private practice during the tenure
• 4% horizontal reservation applies for PwD candidates as per Government of India rules; OBC (NCL) candidates must produce a current-financial-year certificate at the time of reporting

2. Attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials supporting qualification, experience, date of birth and category, along with a self-attested latest photograph
3. If currently employed in a Government/Semi-Government/Corporate body, obtain a No Objection Certificate from your present employer before the interview date
4. Report at AIIMS, Raebareli by 10:00 AM on 08 September 2026
5. Attend document verification and screening of applications between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the LT Ground, Medical College Building
6. Appear for the interview from 3:00 PM onwards, carrying all original certificates/testimonials for verification
7. Note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or joining the Institute
