CLW Contract Medical Practitioner (Specialist) Recruitment 2026 — 2 Posts, Walk-in 25 Aug (WB)

Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Indian Railways, has released Contract Medical Practitioner (Specialist) Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. GMA/GS/1521(CMP)(4)-Pt.III for 2 posts — one CMP (Specialist) ENT and one CMP (Specialist) Medicine. Candidates holding an MBBS with a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the respective specialty, recognised by MCI, along with a valid State Medical Council/MCI registration, are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. Selected Specialists will provide contractual medical services at CLW's Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Chittaranjan, West Bengal, for a duration of one year on a full-time contract basis. Selection is entirely through a Walk-in Interview, with a monthly remuneration of ₹1,23,500 for Specialists. Retired Railway or Government Doctors up to 67 years (or 7 terms) may also apply, subject to remuneration and pension combined not exceeding their last drawn pay. Candidates must attend the walk-in interview at the Office of the Principal Chief Medical Officer, Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Chittaranjan, West Bengal, on 25 August 2026, carrying original documents, self-attested photocopies, two passport-size photographs, and a duly filled application form (Annexure A). • Valid Registration Certificate from a State Medical Council/Medical Council of India
• Entry-level age not exceeding 60 years as on 31 July 2026; retired Railway/Government Doctors up to 67 years or 7 terms

• No application fee mentioned for any category

• Specialist: ₹1,23,500 per month
• Retired Railway/Government Doctors: remuneration plus pension not to exceed last pay drawn at retirement

1. Read the official CLW notification carefully before attending the walk-in interview
2. Download and fill the application form (Annexure 'A') as per the format in the notification
3. Paste one of two passport-size photographs on the application form
4. Prepare original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies — ID proof, educational certificates, experience certificates, category certificate (if applicable)
5. Verify eligibility criteria for the specific specialty (ENT or Medicine) before attending
6. Report at the Office of the Principal Chief Medical Officer, Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Chittaranjan, West Bengal, on 25 August 2026
7. Reach the venue well in advance of the reporting time to complete registration formalities
8. Carry an extra passport-size photograph for submission if required
9. Attend the walk-in interview and document verification on the same day
