Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), a unit of Indian Railways, has released Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 under Employment Notice No. GMA/Rectt.&MPP/Sports Quota/2026-2027 for 25 posts against Open Advertisement and Talent Scouting. Qualification

  • Level-5/4 (2 posts): Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University
  • Level-2 (8 posts): Higher Secondary (12th) or 10+2 or equivalent, OR Matriculation with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship, OR Matriculation with a recognized Diploma
  • Level-1 (15 posts): Secondary (10th) or equivalent, or ITI, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT
  • All candidates must be active sportspersons meeting the minimum sports norms (National/International achievement or ranking) prescribed for the relevant Level, across 15 disciplines including Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Swimming and Shooting

Eligibility

  • Indian National, active sportsperson meeting minimum sports norms for the relevant Level across 15 disciplines
  • Level-5/4: Represented the Country in Olympic Games OR at least 3rd position in a Category-B Championship
  • Level-2: Represented the country in Category-B Championship, OR 3rd position in Category-C Championship/National Championships/National Games, OR 1st position in Federation Cup (Senior)
  • Level-1: Represented the Country in Category-C Championship, OR 3rd position in Federation Cup (Senior), OR represented State/equivalent Unit with at least 8th position in Senior Nationals
  • Sports achievements must be on or after 01 April 2024
  • Age 18 to 25 years as on 01 January 2026, with no age relaxation for any category
  • Educational qualification varies by Level — Graduate (Level-5/4), 12th/Diploma (Level-2), 10th/ITI (Level-1)
