(Ag.) in Agronomy/Horticulture/Soil Science/Agricultural Chemistry, or M.Sc. in Botany/Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Nanotechnology, plus 2 years' experience in Research & Development at industrial/academic institutions or Science and Technology organisations and scientific activities/services
• Project Assistant-II: B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry, or B.Sc. in Biological Sciences (ZBC or others)

• Maximum 35 years for all posts
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women; 3 years for OBC

• Project Associate-I: M.Sc. (Ag.) or M.Sc. in a relevant science discipline (Botany/Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Bioinformatics/Nanotechnology)
• Project Associate-II: Same M.Sc. qualification as PAT-I, plus 2 years of R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions or Science & Technology organisations
• Project Assistant-II: B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry, or B.Sc. in Biological Sciences
• Maximum age 35 years for all posts, with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC
• Nature of engagement: Project-based, contractual
• NET/GATE or equivalent national-level qualification determines the higher salary slab for Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II

• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): ₹31,000/- plus HRA per month for CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET/GATE-qualified candidates; ₹25,000/- plus HRA per month for others
