ESIC Andheri Recruitment 2026 — 76 Posts (Professor, Associate/Assistant Professor, Senior Resident, Tutor), Walk-in 01-03 Sep (Maharashtra)

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has released a revised Recruitment 2026 notification vide Advt. No. 11/2026 (File No. A/11/2025-PGI-ADH), dated 25 August 2026, for 76 teaching faculty and Senior Resident posts at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Andheri East, Mumbai, on a contract basis. This ESIC Andheri government job 2026 covers Professor (16), Associate Professor (20), Assistant Professor (14), Senior Resident (18) and Tutor (8) posts, with walk-in interviews spread across 01, 02 and 03 September 2026. Selected faculty and Senior Residents will join ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Andheri East, contributing to medical teaching and patient care under a contract engagement of 1 year, extendable up to 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance or attainment of 68 years of age, whichever is earlier. Selection is based on the candidate's academic credentials and performance before the Selection Board — there is no written examination. Pay is fixed per the 7th CPC: Professor at Level 13 (Basic Pay ₹1,23,100, approx. total ₹2,81,704), Associate Professor at Level 12 (₹78,800, approx. total ₹1,84,421), Assistant Professor and Senior Resident at Level 11 (₹67,700, approx. total ₹1,60,045), and Tutor at Level 10 (₹56,100, approx. total ₹1,35,000), plus DA, NPA, TA, HRA and other allowances. The ESIC Andheri 2026 walk-in interview is held across three days — 01, 02 and 03 September 2026 — with reporting time 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dean Office, 5th Floor, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, MIDC, Opposite MIDC Police Station, Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400093; candidates should confirm their specific department's scheduled day from the official notification. • No service benefits — PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance/Benefits, Seniority or Promotion are NOT admissible under this contract engagement
• No private practice is allowed in any capacity after joining as teaching faculty/Senior Resident
• Faculty must mark attendance both manually and on the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily
• Absence beyond 7 days without permission is treated as voluntary abandonment, resulting in automatic termination
• Retired employees/pensioners engaged on contract may draw full pay without deduction (not treated as re-employment under CCS Fixation of Pay of Re-employed Pensioner Orders, 1986) and may continue to draw pension and DR during the contract

4.
