ESIC Indore Recruitment 2026 — 89 Posts, Walk-in 18 Sep (Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident)

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Indore, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, has released Rolling Advertisement No. 07 of 2026 for 89 provisional government job vacancies of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Senior Resident on a contractual basis. This is a rolling monthly recruitment drive, meaning the same cycle repeats every month until the posts are filled, with the current cycle's walk-in interview scheduled for 18 September 2026 across 24 medical departments including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Radiology, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, and Nephrology. Selected Teaching Faculty and Senior Residents will serve at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Nanda Nagar, Indore, contributing to medical education and patient care across the 24 listed departments. Candidates up to 69 years of age (Teaching Faculty) or 45 years (Senior Resident), meeting National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines for their specific department and post, are eligible to apply — with both retired and currently serving Professors permitted to apply. Fixed basic pay ranges from ₹67,700 (Level 11) for Assistant Professor and Senior Resident, up to ₹1,23,100 (Level 13) for Professor, plus NPA, DA, HRA, and Travel Allowance. • Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 69 years
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years, with age relaxation as per prevailing Government of India norms
• Maximum tenure of engagement extends till 70 years of age for teaching faculty, or the contract period, whichever is earlier

• Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident: Qualification as per National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines for the respective post and department
• Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Maximum age 69 years; Senior Resident: Maximum age 45 years
• Updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) required; "applied for" proof accepted if not yet updated
• Nature of engagement: Contractual, tenure of 1 year or until a regular incumbent joins or age 70, whichever is earliest
• Any candidate can be appointed against an unfilled, vacant reserved-category post for 44 days, extendable if required
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificates must be issued not earlier than one year before the interview date, in Central Government format
• EWS candidates must submit an EWS certificate in the prescribed DoPT format (Annexure-I)
• Selected candidates must deposit a security amount of ₹20,000, forfeited on resignation/termination within six months of joining
• Candidates involved in patient care must hold a professional indemnity policy (₹10–30 lakh sum assured depending on department) for the contract period
• No private practice permitted in any capacity after joining; no PF/Pension/Gratuity/Medical Benefits admissible as this is a contractual role

• Plus applicable allowances: NPA at 20% (where applicable), Dearness Allowance at 60%, House Rent Allowance at 20%, and Travel Allowance of ₹7,200 plus DA

2. Read the complete notification carefully to confirm eligibility for your specific department and post
3. Prepare a scanned copy of the completed Application Form, Demand Draft (if applicable), and all supporting documents including proof of publications and conference papers
4. Email the scanned documents by 4:00 PM on the 15th of the month (or next working day if a holiday), with the subject line mentioning your Name, Post, and Department
5. Simultaneously prepare the original Application Form, self-attested documents, and original Demand Draft for physical submission
6. Send the original documents by post to reach The Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Nanda Nagar, Indore (M.P.) – 452011, by the 17th of the month, marked "Recruitment of Teaching Faculty/Senior Residents on contract basis" with Post and Department noted
7. Report in person for the walk-in interview on the 18th of the month, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
8. Carry all original documents for verification, including 10th certificate, MBBS/MD/MS/DNB mark sheets and degree certificates, Medical Registration Certificate, and category certificates if applicable
9. Attend the interview before the Selection Board on the same day
