Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2027 — Agnipath Scheme (2,500 Posts) — Opens 06 July

The Indian Air Force has released the notification for Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Applications open from 06 July to 26 July 2026 for approximately 2,500 vacancies across four categories — Agniveervayu (Science Subjects), Agniveervayu (Other Than Science), Group Y Medical Assistant (10+2), and Medical Assistant (Pharmacist). The online examination is scheduled for 22-23 September 2026. Both male and female unmarried Indian citizens can apply. After 4 years of service, up to 25% of Agniveers will be enrolled in the permanent cadre. The Seva Nidhi package of approximately ₹11.71 lakh is provided to those who exit after 4 years.

12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% aggregate + 50% in English (Science stream). Other streams and Medical Assistant categories have separate eligibility — check notification.

Born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both inclusive); unmarried male and female candidates

• Agniveervayu (Science): 12th with Physics, Maths, English with 50% aggregate + 50% in English.
• Agniveervayu (Other): 12th with 50% aggregate + 50% in English.
• Medical Assistant: 12th (Science with Biology) with 50% + 50% English.
• Medical Assistant (Pharmacist): D.Pharm with 50%.
• Born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010.
• Unmarried male and female Indian citizens.

₹550 (for all candidates, includes GST)

₹30,000/month (Year 1), ₹33,000 (Year 2), ₹36,500 (Year 3), ₹40,000 (Year 4) + Seva Nidhi ~₹11.71 lakh after 4 years. Up to 25% Agniveers retained permanently.
