Overview
The Indian Air Force has opened applications for the Airmen Intake 02/2027 recruitment cycle. This is separate from the Agniveer Vayu recruitment (which is under Agnipath scheme). Airmen Intake covers regular (non-Agnipath) Airmen posts in Group X (Technical trades — Automobile Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, IT etc.) and Group Y (Non-Technical trades — Administrative Assistant, Accountant, Ground Training Instructor, Medical Assistant, Musician etc.). Applications open 06 July 2026. Selection through Common Admission Test (CASB Test), Physical Fitness Test, Medical Examination, and Final Merit List.
