ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has released ICAR-IARI Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 for 4 walk-in vacancies under its Lentil (Project 12-289G) and Mungbean (Project 12-289H) research projects. • Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - Mungbean (12-289H): Master's degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology after a 4/5-year Bachelor's degree; candidates with a 3-year Bachelor's degree must additionally hold UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent, or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines, as prescribed under ICAR guidelines

• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and Women candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates

• Master's degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology after a 4/5-year Bachelor's degree (both Lentil and Mungbean projects)
• 3-year Bachelor's degree holders must additionally hold UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent, or a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
