• Research Associate-I: Ph.D. in Physics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Quantum Science/Engineering or Technology or a relevant discipline from a recognised University/Institute, or candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis/defended it and are awaiting the award of degree. Desirable: background in QMP, Computational Physics
• Project Technical Assistant [Level-II]: Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 55% marks from an AICTE/Board of Technical Education-approved institution, plus minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in operation and maintenance of 11kV/433V electrical substations and associated systems, with a valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate (C-License) issued by CEIG. Desirable: working knowledge of Linux, AutoCAD, LibreOffice

• Project Associate-I: Four-year Bachelor's degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, or Technology, with national-level exam qualification (CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/JAM) preferred for higher remuneration, and at least 2 years relevant research experience
• Research Associate-I: Ph.D. in Physics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Quantum Science/Engineering/Technology, or thesis submitted/defended and awaiting degree
• Project Technical Assistant [Level-II]: Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 55% marks, plus 3 years' experience in 11kV/433V substation operation and maintenance, with a valid CEIG Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate
• Maximum age 40 years for all posts, with relaxation as per Government of India rules
• Nature of engagement: Contractual, project-linked positions at IMSc
