Overview
The Indian Army has released the notification for Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) 68 Course for MEN and 39th SSC Tech Course for WOMEN engineers. Both unmarried male and female Indian citizens with engineering degrees can apply. Selected candidates undergo training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for 49 weeks, after which they are commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army with a Short Service Commission of 14 years (extendable). This offers excellent salary, free accommodation, medical, canteen, and lifetime privileges after service. Selection through SSB Interview (5-day process) and Medical Examination.
